Hi there! I’m Emily Heyer, a Bennington-based real estate professional dedicated to helping clients navigate one of life’s most meaningful decisions with clarity and confidence.
How I Got Here
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, I spent 14 years in the Austin area before moving to Upstate New York in 2020 and then settling into Southern Vermont in 2022. I’ve fallen in love with the slower pace, small-town charm, and strong sense of community here.
My career journey has been anything but linear…and I’m grateful for every step. I grew up working in my family’s small retail business, where I learned true customer service and a strong work ethic. From there, I explored health and wellness as a Massage Therapist, moved into administrative and HR management in the corporate software world, and most recently supported wellness entrepreneurs as an Integrative Life Coach and freelance digital brand designer. Along the way, I’ve raised two young boys and supported my husband, Chris, a general contractor and licensed home inspector.
Home Obsessed
One thread has woven through my entire life: I’ve always been obsessed with “home.” As a little girl, I rearranged and decorated my room constantly, watched every home improvement show I could find, and begged my mom for gardening tools and paint samples. Growing up amidst chaos, I found comfort and hope in the peaceful homes I saw on TV and in magazines.
Today, that passion is alive and well! I still love design and DIY, and I’m grateful to be creating a special home with my own family. Becoming a real estate agent felt like a natural extension of my love for homes and my desire to support others in building theirs.
